About Us

We Take the Work Out of Networking!

Job hunting can be a lonely and discouraging process. You spend a ton of time filling out online job applications and get nothing but boilerplate rejection letters–if you get anything at all. Cold calls and LinkedIn messages go unanswered daily. You’re creating plenty of one-way communication, but you’re missing out on something key to the search: networking.

With more than 30 million Americans out of work, everyone is competing for the same advertised jobs. What most people don’t realize is that 70 to 80 percent of jobs don’t even make it to job boards—they’re filled by networking. People hire people they know, like, and trust.

With so many people out of work, simply applying to online jobs won’t get you anywhere. If anything, it will just extend your search.

David Wynett, Founder & Chief Jobs Officer

David Wynett founded Aim Hire because he was frustrated with his own job search. He spent his days applying for jobs on job boards, but didn’t make any progress. When David discovered that most jobs are found through networking, he realized that there must be a better and more efficient way to network. He created Aim Hire as a new kind of job virtual support group to help those who are unemployed and seeking new jobs with new connections, job leads, job coaching and motivation.

David is an Atlanta native and entrepreneur. He also manages an innovation agency called Next Discovery, which helps major corporations and nonprofits create new products and services. David previously managed Prodigy Works, an innovation agency, for 10 years and worked in the U.S. Senate and as Manager of Legislative Affairs for Delta Air Lines.
